BLeonardExpert in capital case - Barry Mills
Has anyone had Dr. Barry Mills testify for the defense lately? His last go-round here was in '98. He came up with the "lupus defense." Please e-mail if you have a fairly recent experience/transcript.

edlawnewsYes, I understand he regularly testifies all over Texas for the defense - primarily East and South Texas. My experience is that he was very sharp and prepared. He tends to emphasize neuropsychology and MRI findings. I reviewed transcripts on the 'lupus' case and found the press misrepresented his testimony. In fact, the Lupus Foundation of American ended up issuing an apology to him. Best I can say is be prepared on neuropsychiatry and 'good luck.'
