Anyone else have SROs and school districts concerned about the disipline ramifications of this one ?

Yes I have gotten calls from SRO and a JP who handles school offenses. What are you telling them?

I gave them a brief run down of what I thought the options were (not good) and refered them to Ryan Turner at the TMCEC.

Ryan is a good source. I would only add that significant portions of SB 1114 (which was supposed to be vetoed, but wasn't) may be trumped by SB 393. See p. 63 of our Legislative Update book for details.
