Shannon EdmondsGeneral rules for coming to the Legislature:
- only one person per office needs to come
- do not plan on testifying; you will be submitting a witness affirmation card (available only at the hearing) for/against the bill, and you will be doing so either on behalf of your elected boss (assuming he/she has approved that) or on your own behalf, as a private citizen (in which case, you better be coming down on your own nickle).
- while here, you should try to stop by your local legislators' offices and let them know you support/oppose the bill in which you are interested.
- check in with TDCAA for any questions.
