My research shows that this is an analog of UR-144 and XLR-11.

How should I charge it? Under 481.1031 (as a synthetic cannabinoid) or under 481.119 (This is where XLR-11 is).

Just had a long conversation with my forensic scientist.

Although FUB-144 is an analog of XLR11, the Texas Register lists only XLR11 and not analogs of XLR11. Bottom line - can't prosecute under 481.119 "miscellaneous substances."

Chemist won't testify that FUB-144 "mimics the pharmacological effect of naturally occurring cannabinoids" b/c there is no evidence of how it affects humans. (Of course, other than our reports showing they are driving on the wrong side of the road...hallucinating...passing out...throwing up...) Bottom line is, I can't charge it under PG2-A either.

In other words, the darn stuff is NOT illegal.
