I am interested in finding out how other office handle cases where the defendant fails to show up for a plea and there is an FTA issued. Once the defendant is arrested on the FTA do you just proceed with the plea under the original terms? Do you allow the defendant to reset the plea prior to getting arrested on the FTA? I am curious how other jurisdiction handle this. Currently our Judge just resets them.
