Can anyone help me locate a Statute of Limitations for Claiming Lottery Prize by Fraud, Government Code Sec. 466.308? Is it just treated like a theft?

The offense has a different value ladder than theft, so I'd treat it as an "all other felonies" under CCP 12.01(7), which would make the statute of limitations three years from the date of commission of the offense. If it's just a misdemeanor, of course, CCP 12.02 gives you a limitation period of two years.

Does anyone happen to have a Complaint form for this? I'd love to chat with anyone with experience prosecuting this type of case.
