Our office recently received a notification from DPS stating they will no longer mail paper nondisclosure notifications to us effective January 1, 2013 and that we will be required to retrieve them via their CJIS site. While that may be more efficient/easier, does that actually comply with the Tex. Gov't Code Sec. 411.081(g-1) requirement? The way I read the statute is that DPS must send relevant information in the order or a copy of the actual order... not just a notice that there an order exists. Am I way off base here?

Personally, I think that you are "spot on", as our friends across the pond would say...
