Monday, March 24th, 2003, will be "Prosecutor Day" in Austin. In conjunction with this opportunity to talk with your local legislators, you can also gain MCLE credit - what a deal!

The seminar portion will be held at the Omni Downtown on Sunday, March 23rd from 1-5 p.m. TDCAA will provide you with two hours of MCLE ethics credit on important issues involving conflicts in representation, Ethics Opinion 539, and representation of governmental entities, including DPRS. The course is free, but TDCAA cannot reimburse for travel or hotel expenses (the hotel rate is $80 for a single and $110 for a double, and reservations for this TDCAA rate should be made by March 15).

The following day, you will have an opportunity to discuss issues of importance to you with your representatives and senators. If you plan to do so, please make arrangements with those officials' offices ahead of time.
