Hi,
I need to find the city/state name and some more information of existing phone numbers which I have as a database of phone numbers in excel spreadsheet. Can someone help me finding out the city and state? Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

try googling: xxx area code

where xxx is the area code you are researching.

I usually get wikipedia as the first or second hit. I guess you could try wikipedia too.

Hi tom202,
Don’t worry. It is really simple to find the state name of existing numbers. I would refer to you a site called www.areacodelookup.org/ where you just have to put the phone number in the given text box and it returns the state and city names within seconds. Please let me know weather it is useful to you or not and feel free to ask about any other query you have.
Good luck!
