Small county. No orders from juvenile probation board in place. My reading is that ALL criminal cases involving a juvenile are rereferred / presented to the juvenile probation department initially and then that department is required to send those cases enumerated under Texas Family Code Section 53.01(d) (felonies, Class A Assaults, etc.) my direction for review. Others are saying the 53.01(d) cases come directly to me. What do you think? Thank you.
