The Chuck Dennis Award is given annually at the Investigators Conference. It is in place to recognize the Texas District or County Attorney Investigator who exemplifies commitment to the service of the law enforcement community and others, while serving his office and remaining active with TDCAA. The Chuck Dennis Award is given out at the Investigator's School in February. The Oscar Sherill Award is given out at the Annual. It is for service to the community and TDCAA. I assume nominations are open right now for the Oscar Sherill Award since the Annual is set for September.
