Does anyone have any advice for a soon to be retired military officer (just 42 yrs old) that wants a second career in detective/investigative work? I have no specific computer forensics training but could pick it up quickly (That's not necessarily all I'm interested in).

Masters in Computer Systems
B.S. in Computer Engineering
A.S. in Computer Systems
A.S. in Criminal Justice

* Was a military police specialist for 5 years.
* Worked in the intelligence field for 3 years.
* The rest of my career is in computer modelling and simulation...

I know I won't make the kind of money I could in computer engineering, but I want/need the change.

Thanks for any advice.
