If a person can be charged for not reporting child abuse, could an attorney or prosecutor ever be held accountable for ignoring a claim.
A father charged with domestic violence loses contact with son due to wife's protective order, he then asks that she be supervised due to drug use and past abuse of the child. The claim is ignored and considered to be said in retaliation. If abuse is true are the attorney and others that were warned liable in any way?

Sorry, but this is not a site for legal advice to the public.
