I have a potential defendant subpoenaed to testify to grand jury on monday. I suspect he may not show up for grand jury. What process is involved in getting an attachment if he fails to show up? Anyone have a form they would like to share? If he is taken into custody on the attachment and the grand jury is done for the day and won't meet again until next month, does he just sit in jail until the next meeting of the grand jury? Alternatively, is filing a motion to have him held in contempt the proper way to go for such a no show?
