Just a note to let all of you know that the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA)conducted an excellent SFST refresher course for our local law enforcement agencies last week in Llano. Several great things about it: it was interesting, informative, free and TCLEOSE credit was given. TMPA has awsome resources and funding to conduct various kinds of training around the state. Our county attorney, Cheryll Mabray, co-sponsored the event. TMPA was great to work with, and all we had to do was provide a space and notify law enforcement of the dates. We had over 100 law enforcement officers in attendance. Officers were able to choose from one of two dates to obtain their training.
