This story raises some personal security issues: 1. Convenience stores are dangerous places. Better to buy the beer in a supermarket. 2. Never go inside a convenience store after dark. 3. Purchase gas at a convenience store only if you can pay at the pump (and remain in your car with the doors locked while the tank fills). 4. If you must enter a convenience store after dark, do not go outside to your vehicle unless the parking lot is safe (no people loitering around). 5. Rethink whether you want your assailant to know you are a prosecutor. Do you really need to carry your badge at night? 6. Know how to defend yourself (proper training and equipment). | ||
