Does the presumption of 31.03 C 7 apply to UUV?

Defendant wrecks out on stolen motorcycle. Claims he didn't know it was stolen and bought it for $700. Several weeks without license plate or title. Was indicted under UUV and have a probation revocation on Monday.

How could it? PC 31.03(c) specifically says "for the purposes of Subsection (b) ...." As in, PC 31.03(b).

Sounds pretty limiting to me.

My hope was that there might be case law supporting the applicability since UUV is a lesser included of that specific provision.
