Judicial Plea Bargaining? Login/Join

This case from the Third Court of Appeals describes an interesting conversation between the judge and defendant. Does it suggest that some judicial plea bargaining took place?

Click here for another example. Different judges; same county.

In your county, do your judges get involved in plea bargaining? Do you think that is a good or bad practice?
