Are "Forms, Briefs, Etc." and "Prosecutors Questions Answered" gone forever? [This message was edited by MSpacek on 11-05-07 at .]

The "Forms, Briefs" and "FAQ" sections have been taken down with the hope that TDCAA will bring back those sections sometime down the road when we have additional personnel to keep their contents updated. When working on the website upgrade, we realized that information in both of those sections was stale to the point of being potentially misleading, and we thought that it would be better to help prosecutors with forms and questions on an as-needed basis, rather than having someone rely on information that was potentially outdated. Please feel free to call or e-mail our research attorney (johnson@tdcaa.com or 512/474-2436) if you need a particular form or brief or have a particular legal question. Sean will do his best to track down what you need. Also note that in 2006, the TDCAA board adopted a long-range plan that includes its recommendation for a full-time employee devoted to content management for the TDCAA website sometime in the next five years. We're currently working on finding funding for that position, possibly through the Texas District & County Attorneys Foundation, which paid for the costs of this website upgrade. With a full-time website person downt he road, we anticipate adding a number of features to the website, including resurrection of an up-to-date "Forms, Briefs" section. But again, please don't hesitate to call if you're looking for something in particular.
