has anyone tried to a jury in recent months a hot check case - old check from 2005, merchant knows the Def. and has had bad checks before, check presented to a check cashing company prior to our involvement, proper letters, etc, def. paid off 2 other checks from merchant but not this one, no claim of forgery - def. has assault and DWI pending in this court, so has not done anything about the checks. My go-by is from 1984 and no new stuff that I can find.
