I've got a murder trial next Monday on a case where the Victim dies 6 months after the initial fight. Blunt force trauma to the head during a fist fight / kicking on the ground. The guy dies after complications from being on a ventilator. Basically, I need help with fashioning questions regarding linking the trauma to the death. My M.E. is going to testify after reviewing all the medical records to exactly what you'd expect, but I want to cut off this issue as early as possible because I don't expect a contest at trial. Rather, I expect the defendant, who has confessed to beating the victim unconscious, to explain he didn't mean to kill the guy and therefore he would like a manslaughter conviction with probation, please. We indicted it as 'act clearly dangerous to human life'. Thoughts?

Dirty bomb explosion in a heavily populated Texas city. Radiation deaths months or years later are still attributable to the explosion.
