For the past years, the county treasurer has been in control of the hot check fund, meaning he disburses the checks according to the DA's wishes. The DA would now like to be able to write the checks himself. 102.007 says that the prosecutor gets to administer the fund, but is anyone aware of any AG opinions or other statutes that specifically say the DA can write the checks? | ||
