Magistrate Warning when Defendant is Hospitalized

Defendant is in ICU is hospital out of county. He is under arrest and we have deputy there guarding him. He won't be released for 4-5 days. Do we have to send JP to hospital to give magistrate warning, or since he can't be brought before JP under normal procedures, will it wait til he is released?
