Officers enter home for search based on aggravated assault looking for shoes, weapons and bloody clothing. Upon entry, find white powdery substance on floor. Field test positive for coke. Get second search warrant for drugs based on positive field test. Find lots more drugs. Substance that field tested positive tests negative at lab. Defense wants to suppress. I know I'm ok based on good faith of officer and judge believing his credibility but are there any cases on point. Surely this has happened before.
