I thought I saw something about this on the forum - but did not locate it. Has anyone tried to limit defense counsel from mentioning this since the jury has no control over it, It is a collateral consequence -- statutory mandate. Seems like since the jury has no determination about this collateral consequence defense counsel should not be allowed to mention it.
