If a person commited a crime(felony drug) in 2001 and used a bail bondsman($18,000/$1,800) and then jumped bail and spent 3 years "hiding" in another state and finally got caught(and arrested) and taken back to Brooks county Texas where the original crime was committed would this person be released on bail again???? Is it possible that they would be given that opportunity to jump bail AGAIN??!!

While it is not inconceivable that the defendant would be granted bail, it would be suprising if a local bondsman made it.

Look for a bill to be filed this session to amend the Texas Constitution to permit a judge to deny bail if the defendant violated a condition of release or failed to appear. That's what it would take to fix the problem in Texas. Until then, judges just have to set the bond high.
