Here are the facts: A jail time judgment is entered against a defendant, with court costs and/or attorney's fees. The judgment fails to indicate that the jail time satisfied the court costs and/or attorney's fees. The years pass (about 10) and the costs remain unpaid. How, or can, the court clerk collect on the unpaid costs? Or is it the court that collects the costs through contempt? Can the Court or the commissioners court waive collection of such costs? | ||
