Officer filed citation in municipal court for offense occurring outside municipality. Needs to be in JP court. Dismiss and refile? Or can the municipal judge order the transfer of jurisdiction?

Depending on your jurisdiction, it might be easier just to have the citation dismissed and refiled with the proper JP court rather than dealing with a transfer from a municipal court to one in the county system.
