As part of some training that I am doing, I am looking for examples in your jurisdictions in which the defendant attempted to manipulate DNA to avoid conviction. I have examples from Canada (doctor puts tube of blood in his arm), Wisconsin (crook sends sample of his DNA through mail to be planted at crime scene, and Corpus Christi, Texas (crook switches wrist ID in jail with another inmate when nurse comes to take blood sample). What other examples have you seen? It would help if there are photos or video or a follow up on TV because visuals are always good for training.

I just heard about a guy in New York who bought used condoms from a prostitute and then used them to smear the victim of one of his rapes. Confused the jury and he was acquitted, even though the prostitute testified.
