Anyone had any luck forfeiting large quantities of these phones? We have one group of Arabic individuals that were discovered with about 400 phones and now a group of Russian individuals with about 500 phones. Of course, they claim they drive around the country buying them at full retail, and then they have a "buyer" that will pay almost double retail for them.

Contact Homeland Security and the FBI. They will undoubtedly be interested in your suspects, as they should be.

I read about a case from Michigan (?) a while back. Young muslim men buying masses of pre-paid cell phones at Wal-Mart, then stripping off the packaging. Apparently it was legitimate. There are no Wal-Marts in inner city Detroit (or where ever this was), and folks on the street there were happy to pay well over retail for the prepaid cell phones. I think the perps, errrr, entrpreneurs, may have implied to their buyers that the phones were stolen, and tried to make them look that way by stripping off the packaging, but no crime had been committed.
