Question:
Now that we have completed the first month under new sec. 15(a)(1) of 42.12, maybe it is time to gauge the effects of the legislation. Please choose one of following to describe any changes in your plea offers under the new law (in the cases affected by it).

Choices:
No noticeable change in dispositions or number of guilty pleas
Now routinely offer less time in state jail and shorter term of community supervision to avoid trial
Now much more often offer deferred adjudication of guilt
Now much more often agree to punish or prosecute under Sec. 12.44
None of the above, but have noticed change in willingness of defendants to plead guilty
