Is this really some sort of concession that in Washington they might be out of touch? Throwing out a bone? If they do reconsider, surely the slim majority will only shore up its prior opinion: i.e., the overlooked law doesn't change the end result? But we can certainly hope for better. Does anyone have statistics on how often the SCOTUS has reversed positions on MFR--especially in criminal cases? (Rarely, if ever?) But they do need to get the mud out of theirs eyes for overlooking military law. JAS | |||
