Is a certified copy of a federal trial transcript self-authenticating?

I have an admission by the defendant in an unrelated federal trial. I intend to use my cop to introduce the statement, but if challenged, I would like to introduce that portion of the transcript into evidence.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
