Has anyone had the privilege of dealing with Quanell X (Quanell Ralph Evans) in grand jury? If so, did he attempt to assert any privilege such as communications with clergy? Thomas Pfeiffer, ADA Fort Bend County

This is not about Quanell but Felcman is very knowledgeable regarding what privileges don't exist regarding clergy. Just ask him about Dan Leach.

Are you saying Quanell X is on the Fort Bend County Grand Jury or is only being questioned by the Grand Jury? Regardless, that has to be interesting.

Along these lines, has anyone had problems with Jehovah's Witnesses refusing to testify in any cases? I was recently consulted by one of my jurisdictions in a weird situation involving an aggravated sexual assault of a child. Apparently, the reluctant witnesses (because the defendant has "come back to Jehovah") are trying some fairly bizarre invocation of privilege and exercise of religious freedom. Is this a trend with some religious groups? IS there one of the conspiracy websites out there passing out bogus constitutional law advice?
