My brain is frozen-- Pop Quiz:

Murder happens in August 2007; Defendant has no felony priors; Is the Defendant eligible for probation from the jury or did the new law kick into effect by then.

Thanks for the help. Confused

TDCAA has two sources for the answer: The Perfect Plea and the single-sheet laminated QuickLaw.
