I found threads from '03 and '05 on this topic. Time to update it. What books are you still keeping in your office? It's time for us to revisit the issue because our West contract is soon to expire. I'd like to eliminate as many book subscriptions as possible.

Given the existence of electronic research, books on shelves are getting scarce. We recently cancelled updates for the Southwest Reporter books. Appellate lawyers in particular are now of a generation in which they are used to working electronically.
