I have an officer who may be able to talk his department into purchasing one. I have seen a demonstration and believe it could help us in several of our applications. Apparently, "someone" in another jurisdiction told him not to bother, because it won't be admissible. Has anyone had experience or difficulties with trying to get this type of evidence before a jury? I'm guessing it is simply subject to the same scientific evidence analysis and requirements as any other type of crash-scene evidence we present (i.e. Total Station), but I'm wanting to know if anyone has heard of a horror story?
