I want to subpoena a witness who lives in Lubbock to come across the state to testify in a criminal matter in my county in far east TX. According to Art 24.16 of the CCP I can do that on application to the district court out there. The question my boss has is whether there is a mile limit. I know there is a mile limit on subpoenas for civil cases. Does anyone out there know if there is a mile limit on subpoenas for criminal cases? Bethany | ||
