Unless I missed it, a feature of this forum has not been advertised- but probably should be. By clicking on "MyPop" you will be given the option of clicking on "Private Topic", which in turn will give you access to a separate set of bulletin boards, which as far as I can tell are subject to access only by those persons who have been invited to join the group as to that topic (or who have been sent the message). Perhaps the Administrator could better describe how this works, but it looks like a means to transfer more personal or sensitive messages to me.
