Having previously discussed the significance of so many defendants sharing the middle name of "Wayne", I thought the forum might be a good place to determine if anyone knows the psychological or other significance of so many persons who forge checks putting "labor" or "for labor" on the "memo line" of the check. My conclusion is that they like to think they deserve what they are getting in exchange for the check, but the practice is so common it has to mean something. Anyone ever pondered or investigated this?
