I want to give a hearty shout-out to special prosecutors Bill Wyrskie and Toby Shook for their prosecution. Both men have been (and Bill soon will be again) highly respected members of our profession. Today's death sentence for the killer of Mark Hasse and Mike & Cynthia McLelland brings to a close the traumatic events that starkly illustrated the hazards of our profession. Hopefully this verdict will bring some measure of peace to the victims' families. Hasse's mom said the good people will be remembered, but the killer will be forgotten. Let's honor that sentiment. Thank you Bill and Toby! It's an honor to share my profession with you.
