If someone with a commercial driver license (CDL) gets a DWI, can he get an occupational driver license? If so, can he use the occupational license to do his job that requires the CDL, i.e. driving trucks during the day? Or can he only use the occupational license to drive his personal vehicle to and from the job site, i.e. truck lot, construction area, etc.?

Just found this at DPS: https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/...squalifications.htm: "Occupational License Individuals may be eligible to apply for an occupational license while their CDL is disqualified. If approved, the occupational license will be issued for noncommercial motor vehicle purposes only, and the individual must drop to a lower class of driver license. To learn more about occupational licenses or to determine if you may be eligible to apply, please visit our Occupational License page."
