The last time I filled out one of these applications, it took forever, because it required all sorts of details that prosecutors don't tend to keep handy and computers hadn't yet started maintaining that stuff. This time, it is much easier, as local clerk's offices and the appellate courts have everything online and searchable. Nice. If you have already received board certification in criminal law and you do at least 25% of your practice as appellate work, I strongly recommend you apply under the grandfather clause which avoids the test. | |||
