I suspect I'm not the only one whose first reaction was to think that his prayer didn't get answered. But then I realized that since he was jailed at least the daily bread part got answered.

But the real question is-

did he ask that his sins, debts, or trespasses be forgiven? That could be very important when it comes to a question of collateral estoppel.
