I am gearing up for an intoxication manslaughter case. Our officers are trained to understand crash data reports, however, they do not understand the science behind the crash data retrieval. Who do you all use to testify regarding the reliability of the crash data retrieval systems themselves? I think the issue is akin to technical supervisors testifying to the reliability of the Intoxilyzer, but if I am wrong please correct me.

Might look at this thread. Tom Lovett is a favorite of this office for black box / accident reconstruction. His number at Crash Dynamics is 682.503.6529 Prior thread: Prior Accident Reconstruction Thread
