If a defendant is sentenced in two different counties on two different charges and the sentences are ordered to run consecutively, does that count as one pen trip or two for enhancement purposes? Thank you for the help! Steve Lilley Hunt County

One. On 1st, 2d & 3d degree felonies. For the habitual enhancement, he goes to prison, gets out, commits new offense, goes to prison, gets out, then commits your pending offense. State jails are under a different statute. Hope this helps. Tell Nobie "HI!
