I have a juvenile case that is currently charged as a terroristic threat. School got word that the respondent was planning to fight another student so they pulled respondent out of class. In the administration office, the respondent threatened to bring a knife to school and stab the other student. The other student was still in class and the threat was not imminent. Is there another crime we can file? Thanks!

Check out the revisions to the Harassment statute (PC 42.07) made last session--specifically subsection (a)(2). Threats under that statute no longer need to be via a specific medium and there is no requirement of imminent injury. It's a Class B.
