Nov. 6, 2003, 10:17AM Mom of kids disciplined with stun gun gets probation Copyright 2003 Houston Chronicle ANGLETON -- The wife of a man convicted of using a stun gun to discipline her children must serve six years' probation after pleading guilty to one count of injury to a child, a judge ruled Tuesday. Tsianina Moody, 28, must also participate in a domestic violence prevention program and avoid contact with her husband, Theodore Moody, serving a two-year state jail sentence for child neglect. In May, a jury found Moody guilty of using a stun gun to discipline his 9-year-old stepson and 11-year-old stepdaughter and allowing the couple's two younger children to wander around their Sweeny-area home in dirty diapers. Brazoria County District Attorney Jeri Yenne said Tsianina Moody admitted trying the stun gun on herself and approved its use on her children. Child Protective Services officials removed all four children, now being cared for by relatives of the couple. | ||
