A 30-year-old New Braunfels man was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison Monday for raping and beating a 14-year-old girl in her home in August 2007.

Jose Rivera had said he drove a one-armed man to the house on the west side of New Braunfels but knew nothing of the attack on the girl inside. The one-armed man, Joe Saucedo, a friend of the family of the victim, apparently has left the area and prosecutors could not find him for the trial.

�Is your story the one-armed man did it?� prosecutor Sammy McCrary asked.

�I don't know,� Rivera, an illegal immigrant, answered through an interpreter.

�Do you know who Harrison Ford is?� McCrary asked him.

I like the fact that the choke marks around the victim's neck show that the assailant had TWO hands!

Or it could have been two one-armed men.

Heck, even the one armed man in The Fugitive had a prosthetic.
