From KBTX.com: CONCORD, N.H. -- A Texas man has pleaded guilty to mailing death threats to New Hampshire's top prosecutor, apparently because he wanted to serve prison time in the Granite State. Jimmy Dale Folsom, 44, was incarcerated in Huntsville, Texas, when he sent threatening letters to Attorney General Kelly Ayotte last year. Prosecutors say he had heard favorable things about New Hampshire prisons and wanted to serve time there. Folsom pleaded guilty Tuesday and faces up to 10 years in prison, but not in New Hampshire, which doesn't have a federal prison | ||
